When I originally got my domain - my first webhost registered it for me. And for the Registrant they put "None". How can I easly, cheaply get this changed to my name? It was registered with TUCOWS, but now its @ OnlineNic. I wish to transfer it to GoDaddy - but it appears I cant do this unless the Registrant name is the same.. however I can not simpley use "None" and nothing in the surname field @ GoDaddy. Is there any register where I could transfer it to and then change the registrar cheaply and/or easily? GoDaddy appears to require you to send them a photo of your self????? (Saw something about it in their FAQ).
Thanks,

You need to change your current data at OnlineNic. You won't be able to transfer the domain if the admin email is incorrect. You'll need to change this to a correct email address first.

The email address is correct....
This is the email I got back from GoDaddy (I am acutally trying the transfer again.. dunno how it is going atm)
Dear Sir or Madam,
We could not process your transfer to Go Daddy Software for your domain name THEDOMAIN.COM because the registrant name provided was invalid.
(I have put in thedomain - replacing the domain I wish to transfer)

GoDaddy may deny your transfer because your domain does not contain valid contact information. All registrars are under contract with ICANN to make sure that you use valid registration information. Most do not do any significant proactive validation, but react only to complaints - keeping within the letter of the contract with ICANN.
You may have to transfer to someone else, then wait 45 days and transfer to GoDaddy unless you can modify your contact information with your current registrar before you attempt the transfer.
