Hi,

I have been hosting with allreseller for around 4 months now, started hosting with them after seeming one of their offers on WHT.

Started off good, two months went good...then suddenly around 2 days of downtime in August...and i had to remake most of my packages in whm then my account was suspended because they tried to rebill my paypal but it would let them...i didnt get any email telling me my sites were down, had to find out myself...after a support ticket and 8 hours for the reply to that ticket i got a payment url and get my account back.

Then my account got suspended again.... because someone there "missed" or didnt see my payment... (again no email informing me this..had to find this out myself) that got sorted out after i posted another ticked (which was replied to 10hrs later)

So.... i figure its time to move... i still have around 2 months with them so plenty of time to move and test hosts.

In their defense, they seem like very nice guys to deal with, all support has been friendly and nice, no real issues other than what i mentioned above.

Can anybody recommend some good reseller hosts?
I am checking out site5 and hostgator and others....but would appreciate your input.

Note: All of the sites I have are either mine or clients which I handle... that means absolutly 0% chance of spam or trouble from 3rd parties...

I am looking for:
Few gbs of space (maybe 3? )
Few gbs of BW
Cpanel+whm
Overselling enabled.

Thanks in advance!

Look in the offers section, and make sure your talk to your host a bit before signing up :)

That's not good business, a host should always contact the customer before suspending their account for non-payment. If the customer does not respond within an established amount of time detailed in the first contact, then the host could resort to suspending the account.

On the flip side of the coin the customer should always maintain their contact info up-to-date with their hosting company. We've had cases where we tried to contact a customer repeatedly regarding a billing issue, only to find out the customer no longer uses that email address.

There are plenty of good hosts which can handle your requirements. Since your problems seem to stem 'mostly" from billing issues, look for a host with a good billing system. Also make sure to update your CC info with the host or your PayPal account to avoid expired card issues etc...

Good Luck

Thanks for replying guys!

Com'on mate, we all know how conversations go very very smoothly till after you sign up then you end up saying your sob story on WHT!
I would rather you gave me your opinion and save me time and frustration ;)

@felit0, exactly...give me some kind of warning before shutting me down... 1 email? it sucks when your clients give you a call and instead of a "hello" you get "why the BEEP is my site down?"

They seem like really nice guys running the show, but not too professional...maybe someone starting out, kids or something.

My contact info is up to date, but i cannot paypal auto-rebill... i do pay 3 months at a time though and my email works perfectly.
The first time they shut me down I left a second email as a just-in-case addy so i could be informed this way or the other... no luck, got shut down for no fault of mine the second time and you guessed it.. no warning.

Other than the above issue and LOOONGGG time before a ticket gets answered, i would stay with these guys...but not likely the problems are gonna change now.
