I would just like to say avoid CWI Hosting. I've been with them for less than 30 days and they are down all the time. The support staff has been real quick to answer my emails anywhere from 30 min. to 4 hours. I email them and say that they are down and they email back and say "our records don't show that".
Well for all you people that say let's see a url, well mine is http://www.blackriverfalls.com and to go one better, here is my monitor page with all the downtime, http://uptime.arsdigita.com/uptime/reports.tcl?monitor_id=113380 I will cancel my account with them as soon as I find a replacement. I should of came here before I went with CWI.

swmichosting.com

It's nothing special and I really don't like to advertise it here or even place it on my signature because I like to stick to local businesses because I can provide person to person (Face to Face) support and make all my customers happy.

Side note: One of our own, Travis, also offers a free uptime monitor (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=5372).

Charles,

If the monitor isn't working for you, I'd much appreciate it if you'd contact me and let me know. Problems can't be fixed without problem reports.

It's been working fine for me, anyway - it alerted me this morning when a customer's co-located NT box decided it had run long enough, and wanted a reboot.

Actually, I just found the problem... Charles, it looks as if you haven't set up any notification methods.

Set up a notification method, and apply it to the host you're monitoring, and you'll then receive any notices the system has for you.

Angel78, I think this is the free monitoring url you were looking for:

http://uptime.arsdigita.com/uptime/about.tcl

Read it, it says "Ok, I'm ready to start... Well, then just add a new url to the system..."

To go straight to the add new url page:

http://uptime.arsdigita.com/uptime/add-url.html
