Hi,

I've pretty much developed my site, and I'm now looking for the best overall Ad banner solution.

I haven't had time to research this yet so I'm totally in the dark.

I need to know which are the best companies to look at when signing up - ie payment schemes etc etc. The site is aimed at a UK audience and covers a wide range of categories - do companies have programs which allow you to tailor ads to specific pages etc - do they pay more for this? Are some companies more tailored towards a UK market?

The second major Q. is what is the best method of serving the banners. I use PHP for most stuff so is this the best way to go or use JS? Do a lot of the companies serve banners just via a link?

So I know there's a lot to answer, but in essence I looking for the best alround solution. Also one that is scaleable so when my traffic grows, payment should increase etc

Thanks for the help!

I've been looking at http://www.adcycle.com, but if you've got the money adjuggler.com.

I would suggest you take a look at Hot Scripts. [ http://www.hotscripts.com ]. They have a listing and rating of php as well as perl scripts.

It's $500, but there's no better solution than AdvertPRO. See

http://www.AdvertPRO.com

I serve banners across 10 websites all from one server. AdvertPRO supports plan banners and Rich Media ads as well. You can call banners using PHP code, javascript, PERL code, server side includes, or plain HTML. You can set up regions, groups of regions, whatever you want.

It's very versatile, has excellent reporting, allows for clients to log in to get their stats and/or you can send clients their stats by email. You can get an additional plug-in to create affiliate programs. And the support is very good.

I've had it since September and have absolutely no complaints at all. Just a satisfied client.

If you want a plan vanilla ad rotator, they're a dime a dozen. If you want something more professional, I recommend AdvertPRO.
