Hi! Today, I deleted a couple virtual sites using the Cobalt GUI. Well, needless to say, it screwed things up and all sites can no longer access the "siteadmin" areas. :( :(

I found this thread in a search here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11516&highlight=siteadmin

Now, I need to know where I can get the script to fix this problem. Is it already on my servers? On a site somewhere? Where???

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out!

Also, I guess since we are on the topic, what has to be done to the server to solve this problem? I want to be able to delete domains without having all these problems if possible...

I found this on the Cobalt Knowledgebase

http://cobalt-knowledge.sun.com/cgi-bin/kbase.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_sid=eyxlvwhg&p_lva=&p_refno=020205-000003&p_created=1012935783&p_sp=cF9ncmlkc29ydD0mcF9yb3dfY250PTE3JnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9c2l0ZWFkbWluJnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9MyZwX3Byb2RfbHZsMT1_YW55fiZwX3Byb2RfbHZsMj1_YW55fiZwX2NhdF9sd mwxPX5hbnl_JnBfY2F0X2x2bDI9fmFueX4mcF9zb3J0X2J5PWRmbHQmcF9wYWdlPTE*&p_li=

I followed the instructions up until it says "run script". I tried running it and it keeps telling me "command not found"

Is there a special way to run files on a Cobalt??  on my whiteboxes I just type in the file name and boom....it runs...

I am running Cobalt RaQ4r's.........not 3's.........

That script you gave me states it is only going to work for sure on a RaQ3 and doesn't guarantee what will happen on a RaQ4......

Any others with a Raq4 script??

Not sure if you got my email, the copy associated with that link indicates it's been tested on 3's and 4's.

Good luck,

Brandon

Yeah, after I read the information on the site the script came from, I saw that it works on 3's and 4's.

But, the first time I only looked at the .txt readme that came bundled with the script....it says RaQ3's only.....

That was where my concern name from....until I went directly to the site with the script on it...

Thanks everyone!
