I was looking into offering web hosting, but I don't know where to begin with the billing. I would like to offer credit card biling, but I have no idea where to start. Could somebody please explain where to start and what options I have?

Check with your bank about getting a merchant account.

Also, look at what credit card options are provided by any control panel, shopping cart, or other software you plan to use.
