Do you offer the cPanel control panel?

We don't offer cpanel, plesk, ensim... etc, etc.

Have you ever noticed that major corporation's don't use control panels... THEY HIRE A SYSTEM'S ADMINISTRATION STAFF. We don't believe there is any substitute for a system's administrator. If you need email addresses set up, we do it for you. If you need subdomains created, we do it for you. We are available via aim/email/or pager 24/7. Our service really is exceptionally good... you'll just have to see it to believe it. I believe our service is the reason that only one person has ever left our hosting service... and that's because they found a BETTER PRICE (wow).

How do we keep uptime so high, and our server load consistantly under .3? BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO RUN OUR SERVERS :) . No control panel offered, no control panel needed, no control panel wanted.

I have one last question. My site requires PHP and MySQL, so I was wondering if they are installed. Also, are there any online stat programs such as Analog or Webalizer?

hm ... since when 50 days of uptime something to be proud about? :) Hey ... even my CPanel3 server had close to 200 days of uptime before I have to reboot it. And some people here have 600+ days of uptime.

But anyway, the reason why we are getting control panel is not because we are not capable of server administration but rather because the customers prefer it that way. If the customer wants to create a subdomain, they can create it within 20 seconds without the need to wait for us to do it for them. If you don't think this is something you should offer for your customer, then I feel sorry for your customers already :)

And ... congrats for your 50 days of continuous uptime ... we all have been there :)

Hehe, I wish I could celebrate 50 days uptime on my server. For some reason I keep taking it offline every so many weeks for hardware or OS updates. I'm going for it now though, got all the hardware I want now and RH 7.2, so that should last a while...

I'm sorry you all are so offended by a hosting company that doesn't use a control panel. I am sure there are many fine hosting companies using control panels. I am sure there are many fine companies who have acheived 50 days of uptime. I'm just excited that I'm among them.

Your design is suspicious. Looks to the casual observer like you tried to use their site as a template and did a really crappy job.

I dont know about Jake's design skills.. but from his questions in the technical forum I am inclined to think he is a good sysadmin and knows to keep the server in good health

As for hosting without control panels I thought I was the only one doing that! Welcome to the club Jake..

I myself feel my prices are too low for the amount of time I put in to support clients. It is difficult to increase your prices once you have positioned yourself in the market at a certain price band

It would be a lousy copy, if it were a copy. L2HOST HAS NO AFFILIATION W/ MCHOST. L2HOST SEEKS NO ASSOCIATION W/ MCHOST. Hope you've had fun hijacking my advertising... I wouldn't do the same to MCHost! But that's just another reason to choose L2Host for your hosting needs :)
