Please detail your question a bit more, I am not sure I understand what you are asking. The more detail in your question, the better it is for a member on this forum to help you.

I think what he is asking for is a webhosting review website for reseller plans.

Well broncobobby you have come to the right place! WHT is probably the best forum when it comes to web hosting.

Although their aint an actual forum on here for web hosting reviews (would be a good idea to add).

try looking at

http://www.findmyhosting.com theirs some reviews on hosts on there

IMO, findmyhosting.com has fallen a bit behind on being usefull, esp for something like reseller hosting....

Just go back through the reseller hosting forum and you can find tons of threads asking for recomendations, once you have about 10 hosts people recommend do a do a search at webhostingtalk.com, sitepoint.com's forums and the digital point forums for "thehost", or "thehost reviewed" or so on...

Keep in mind these are the most demanding people out there so you will have some negative reviews no matter how good they are...

Why not take a look At this link.

Infact here is what was said on that link.

Posted: Sep 17 2003, 01:07 PM Limit: one credit per customer per directory. You can rate us once in each directory, not once per domain. The credits are only available to customers that have web hosting services through Advantagecom.

One of our sources of advertising is the findmyhosting.com directory. In order to make more sales there, it is important that we are listed high when ranked by customer ratings.

We would love it if we could get every single one of our customers to rate us there. Ideally, we'd have a 100% rating from every customer to have the best effect. We know we have many customers that would honestly give us a 100% rating, but their time is extremely valuable and they're just too busy to rate us.

If you can honestly give us a 95% or better rating, we'll pay you $10 for the time you take to fill out the short multiple choice questionaire. If you can't honestly give us a 95% or better rating, then we need you to call or email us with your concerns so that we can resolve them to your satisfaction. If you can give us such a rating after we've resolved your concerns, then please take the opportunity to rate us and earn your $10.

Please do not give us a fake high rating just to get the $10 because that would compromise the integrity of the rating system.

If you want to totally trash us with your rating because you hate us ( ), you're welcome do that too and there is nothing to stop you from doing so, but we would hope that you'd choose to be fair about it and give us an opportunity to resolve any issues you may be having before doing so. We'll still give you the $10 credit to your account for rating us. Just remember, our continued success allows us to improve your services and reduce your costs - honest ratings will help further those causes.

To earn the $10 reward in the form of a credit to your account, simply email billing@advantagecom.net after rating us and let us know that you rated us. Be sure to include the name of the domain that you used when filling out the rating information so that we can verify that you did rate us.

If you've already rated us in the last 6 months, just let us know by emailing billing@advantagecom.net with the information and we'll credit your account $10.

If you've already rated us, but it was more than 6 months ago, please take this opportunity to re-rate us to earn your $10. The rating system allows you to re-rate us once every six months.

Ready to rate us? Click the following link to begin. It should only take about 5 minutes.

Posted: Aug 28 2006, 08:00 PM Get more $10 credits!

For each web hosting related forum you can find and post a review of our hosting services or make a post to recommend our hosting services in response to someone looking for a recommendation of a hosting company, just email billing@advantagecom.net with the URL and we'll post a $10 credit to your account. It must be publically viewable without login required.

You can do this once per month per forum and get another $10 credit each time.

A few important rules:

1. Your post must follow the forum and community rules in place at the site you post at.

2. Do not post in the forums of other hosting companies.

3. If recommending us on a forum by responding to an existing thread, please be sure that our services match up with what the person is asking about. For example, if they're looking for adult web hosting or IRC hosting, don't recommend us. It won't make anyone happy and will just look like spam, which isn't at all what we want.

Breaking any rule would create bad will (exactly the opposite of what we're trying to accomplish) and, depending on the nature of the incident, we may choose to disallow an individual from further participation in this portion of the program and void any credits earned by breaking the rules, at our sole discretion.

Any credits earned can only be applied to hosting service fees with Advantagecom and cannot be "cashed out".

I'm trying to figure out what this has to do with the OP's question.

Mods, pusherhosting seems to be gunning for us for no apparent reason, nor does his post have anything to do with the OP's question or subsequent discussion.

This is not what I call being professional.

Again, what does this have to do with this thread?

Our forum topic was pretty self explanatory. We incentivise word of mouth. It's not a new concept and I'd be so bold to say that 2/3 of all hosts on this forum do it, but in a more underhanded and less transparent manner. Our intentions are clear and we don't go skulking about with fake users trolling forums with fake reviews. It speaks to our professionalism that we make no attempt at hiding our intentions.

If you'd like to discuss this more, please start a different thread and I'll be happy to take the gloves off and go a few rounds with you and whatever other trolls, half-wits, and two-faced fools want to jump in. I see no reason to hijack this thread and I'm sure the OP would be glad to have this thread back.

I'm trying to figure out what this has to do with the OP's question. He'd asked about host reviews, and I'm guessing that informing him that some hosts pay for them is relevant.

Our forum topic was pretty self explanatory. We incentivise word of mouth.
You reward for posting positive reviews in forums, etc. That's not so much word of mouth as paid advertising. In the thread you mention just rating you high to get paid would "compromise the results"...something that paying for it already does. ;)

I didn't notice that connection the first time through. It was not made clear.

Findmyhosting.com indeed has a ratings system that we incentivise. To be precise, we don't pay for our customers to think highly of us, we pay them to get off their rear and go tell people what they think of us, good or bad. If you look at our Findmyhosting.com ratings comments, you'll see there is good and bad in there, all legitimate ratings. Some of the people that posted a bad review came back and asked for the credit and we gave it to them with no questions asked.

We're not out to spam the world with falseness. Anyone that has run a company of any kind knows that your unhappy customers are frequently more vocal than your happy customers. This is especially true in the hosting industry. We have many customers that are busy with their own business and are perfectly happy with our services, but they never take the time to rate us because they're busy. Our incentive program was designed to balance their valuable time taken to do something that they clearly don't have to do with a small token of appreciation for providing their opinion, regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

Yes, indeed, the ratings over at Findmyhosting.com are less than impartial, but I wouldn't say that we caused that or even degraded the quality. Our reviews are at least real reviews from real people. Other hosts in that directory have hundreds of trumped up 100% satisfaction reviews.

We haven't made a sale at Findmyhosting in probably over a year because the place has gotten so junked up with kiddie hosts. We use their rating system, though, because potential customers are always looking for third party validation of our claims of good customer service, reliability, speed, and so forth. The Findmyhosting.com ratings system, while not perfect, does provide that, at least for us.

Other hosts have been banned for lesser a thing. I don't see why you, should be allowed to stay here blabbering about this and that when you're just a spammer .. oops.. you pay others to spam for you.

I disagree, he clearly said he wanted them to post any review, he is just trying to motivate them to write what they want with the faith he is doing a good job.
