What is the benefit of reselling for more than one company...?
I was thinking that if you resell for Company A, that has good prices and good support, but not good bandwidth.. then you could go resell for another Company B.. that has good prices and really good bandwidth... would that even out ?
and allow you to share the two packages...
having good support from one Company A that doesnt exactly have the amount of bandwidth you need.. and having good bandwidth from the other Company B
can this be done ?
Making up for one companies bad with another companies good, to combine the two.. to help serve you better ?

I would assume that the benefit would be to offer different services. IE resell for windows with one company, and for Unix with another company.

why not just find a company that offers what you want and go with it.

I will never understand why resellers look for the lowest price they can find. If you are serious about starting a hosting business find someone you can trust and deal with on a personal level, someone you have good communication with. Because there are going to be times when something goes amiss and you are the man in the middle, the one that can do nothing to fix it but the one getting yelled at by your customers. If you shop on price alone, you may find yourself losing more customers than you gain and your reputation along with them.

My suggestion is find a good hosting company go with them and then grow your business with them, in the long run you will not be sorry.

I'm not looking for good prices..
I'm looking for one company that has great support and web space and another company that has good support, but has better bandwidth...

I honestly don't see how you could combine the two. Neither host will want to provide support for clients that are not on their servers.

You can buy from both companies, but you wouldn't be able to combine the two. How would you split a site between two servers?

You could always ask the company that provides the better support if they will make an arrangement for more bandwidth. Couldn't hurt.

understand what you are saying? As far as I know there is no way to utlizie disk space on one server and bandwidth on antoher. IF that is what you are asking.

Well if one provider goes down at least the other one will be up. Less complaining customers.
