My clients are increasingly using easier alternatives such as Yahoo to cPanel's sleepy old Horde/etc and multi-step login.

Does anyone know of any simpler, more modern Webmail clients that may be able to access IMAP? I want to run a dedicated server for webmail, so it doesn't need to run on the mail server itself.

Beyond that, I'm thinking of suggesting https://www.google.com/a/ (Gmail for domains) but I don't really like that idea.

I've used Nutsmail and RoundCube, they're both pretty nice and fast.

I like RoundCube, but it's not developed enough to put into production.

Horde is pretty customizable and is one of the better webmail interfaces, IMO. If your major complaint with Horde in cPanel is that it requires multiple step logins and you're setting up a dedicated server for mail, why not just customize Horde to have a single login?

We use Nutsmail with Squirrel and our customers absolutley love it!

Best upgrade we ever made, we get sign-ups just because of it.

Cheers! :)

We use Uebimiau as an alternative to standard webmail interfaces, it's pretty decent and easy to use.

Round Cube is a good alternative to offer along side the others until you can be sure the bugs are worked out. Nutsmail nice as well.

Have any of you guys considered mail2web.com?

I find it quite handy for testing purposes.

Maybe consider Socketmail ?

http://www.socketmail.com

The pro version is for multi-domain hosting i.e. to run email hosting service.

They are very popular in the php based software, especially after the "death" (not literally) two of their competitor.

Hello,

Good webmail programs:

SquirrelMail & Horde Mail.

Both are widely used webmail programs.

Thank you.

Squirrelmail is about as good as it gets without shelling out for commercial software.

Does anyone know of one that is similar to mail2web, where clients can check their email, no matter whatserver they are located on within our network?
