I have a friend that is having a hard time with their English 12 essay, compare and contrast.

I was trying to find a site out there for people that he could find some topic ideas, or some examples to look at etc..

Anyone know of any good sites?
I'm not the best person, its been a long time since I had to write an essay, but I would like to help out my friend.

Compare and contrast what?

i would suggest comparing and contrasting two characters from a book, or from two different books.

A good Idea (from personal experience) would be to make compare and contrast the secondary topic, with the main one being more broad. IE the topic "A relationship must involve trust in order to succeed" (that was taken right of an Eng12 provincial.)

You can either prove or disprove the statement. I chose to prove it, using examples form Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four, and Miller's The Crucible Compare and contrast the examples you choose from the book.

Thanks for the help guys, but I really don't think I can help him that much, I will probably just end up editing it for him. He has some specifis topic guidelines....
I just thought maybe I could find him a website with some good examples and help, tips etc...

Oh well, I don't have to worry about doing school essays.
