Thanks and regards, Riz Ankheg 09-06-2006, 01:55 AM Go with eNom; they include free DNS, that's rather better than that offered by most hosts, with all domains. IceCreamMan 09-06-2006, 01:59 AM Go with eNom; they include free DNS, that's rather better than that offered by most hosts, with all domains. eNom is one of the top domain registrars around. Go Daddy is also nice, offers DNS and has competitive prices. Yahoo / Melbourne should be avoided due to there faulty scripts on their webpages. You also might want to consider moving this thread to the domain forums. DimensionServers 09-06-2006, 02:13 AM Are you looking to sell domains or just buy them for your own use. If your going to be selling them I would definitly recomend enom. If your using them for your own personal use then go with namecheap.com. Siropel 09-06-2006, 03:46 AM I work with registerfly.com - godaddy.com and namecheap.com I use registerfly because they give you coupons and you can buy domains cheaper when there are special offers (about once a week I think) Godaddy - wanted to try them out, i don't like the control panel. Namecheap - nice and fast yet simple interface, easy to use. - my favorite. eddy2099 09-06-2006, 03:59 AM Namecheap.com or Domainsite.com are not bad. TRIBOLIS 09-06-2006, 04:37 AM rizabbasi, you can search more domain registrars here, pick one then search for review. It'll help you to choose registrar you like. goodcounter 09-06-2006, 06:29 AM 1and1.com also has cheap registration with very nice control panel. I am using them currently. uberhostNET 09-06-2006, 07:25 AM I'm very happy with Dynadot (http://www.dynadot.com/). They are an ICANN accredited registrar with a regular price of $7.99 for dot com/net/org, plus they have a great new panel and incredibly rapid service. MrRadic 09-06-2006, 08:01 AM I've used GoDaddy and HostWay for domain registration, pretty happy with both. Hostway is offering domains for $1.95! uberhostNET 09-06-2006, 08:35 AM I've used GoDaddy and HostWay for domain registration, pretty happy with both. Hostway is offering domains for $1.95! This would be helpful to post since you mentioned the buck-ninety-five special: **$1.95 .COM, .NET Terms and Conditions: Only new Hostway customers are eligible. Limit one domain name per customer. Offer is limited to .COM and .NET extensions. No purchase of any other products or services necessary. Domain renewal rate is $6.95 per year. Additional domain registrations are available at $6.95 per domain, per year. This promotion can only be combined with .INFO offer mentioned above. Intenso73 09-06-2006, 09:21 AM It depends on which .tlds you are interested in. Attention has to be paid when interested in country code tlds, including e.g. the "new" .eu A word from me could be gandi.net uberhostNET 09-06-2006, 09:49 AM Hostway is offering domains for $1.95! The $6.95 renewal rate + additional domains at $6.95 sure is enticing. Does Hostway have a decent panel for batch managing? TIA, Rick Stan Marsh 09-06-2006, 09:50 AM Please recommend a good registrar for me. I just *LOVE* this kind of questions. :) Please define 'good for me' and we'll be more than happy to help. Thank you. stub 09-06-2006, 08:22 PM It's an impossible question to answer without the OP explaining what they want/expect from a registrar. HSRGeorge 09-08-2006, 12:50 AM http://pairnic.com http://gandi.net Bashar 09-08-2006, 04:20 PM there is no good registrar, there is good registrar for YOU each person has its own preferred options so we dont know what you like and what you dislike. best idea is to try things out and finally settle with the one you like stub 09-09-2006, 01:47 AM there is no good registrar, there is good registrar for YOU I knew you'd get here in he end Bashar. I was trying to remember your phrase and beat you to it, but I couldn't remember it :) hitmeback 09-09-2006, 02:32 PM i have used gandi.net .. never had any problems rebelagent 09-09-2006, 03:05 PM Domainsite.com or dotfrog.com because they have reliable support and cheap domains. Domainsite gives you all the features for purchasing the domain at 7.99 and dotfrog you addon the dns forwards etc for like .25-.50 cents a feature but it totals to like 7.99-8.99 too. Fyvush 09-09-2006, 04:19 PM I also use gandi.net, they are a bit more expensive though and especially if you are from the US (considering the position of the dollar vs the euro). |
