Come on, everyone who has hosting accounts understands the x.x.x.x/yy notation :stickout.

I am a Network Engineer (and not the artificial MCSE or CCNA kind). I know CIDR (which is the x.x.x.x/yy notation you are speaking of). I was making note that the outage notification was very vague and quite lacking. Do customers of C-I HOST feel this is an acceptible outage report? At my company, If I posted something like that to our outage report, i'd be in for some serious repremandation

If I was their customer, I would want more details and not just "any outage should be short".
Basically I would want to know everything that they know about why an outage will or may occur (for example details about a router upgrade, or configuration changes to improve network performance... You get the idea).
By the way what's up with NAC's network recently? :stickout

Doesn't seem like they are being very responsible with their customers.....when you have hundereds, let alone *****'s thousands of clients paying you good money every month, they expect to know what is wrong when what they are paying for won't be working......
Just my opinion...
