If you are looking for open source I would suggest ZenCart or osCommerce. If you don't mind paying for a better (my opinion of course) piece of software I would suggest LiteCommerce or if you need a full featured cart then X-Cart.

I recommend osMax which is a richer version of osCommerce it also has many of the bugs fixed.
