I'm getting the following error whenever I'm trying to install any rpm

[root@rlinux home]# rpm -ivh ftp-0.17-12.i386.rpm
warning: Expected size: 48338 = lead(96)+sigs(149)+pad(3)+data(48090)
warning: Actual size: 48335

but rpm file is fine.....

wat could be thre reason

How would you tell it is fine? I think it is corrupted, you should download it again, preferably from different source.

yes !!! problem with rpm files.....

yah the error you recieved means the file your trying to download is supposed to be 48338 and is only 48335...some kindof checksum or another who knows what im talking about im odd
