I have no experience with cqhost, so I won't say anything negative about them. I have experience with hostingmatters.com, and based on that experiece, you won't regret choosing them.

I have had my site on CQ Host for the last 8 months or so. Up until about 2 months ago they were wonderful. Now, however, I have had an open support ticket for the last month with no response at all, nothing - not even a "sorry can't help." Emails seem to go into a black hole and there have been some connectivity issues with email and the control panel.

I'm looking to move at this point :(

You cannot go wrong with hostmatters, quality people behind that company.

I don't know a thing about cqhost, but I can highly recommend HostMatters. Excellent, and unbelievably prompt support, great communication. Check out their forums, if you haven't already.

HostingMatters!

Sorry, I don't know CQHost...but they could be a good host themselves.

Nothing wrong with Annette. She is open with her opinion, but I personally like that about her - you always know where you stand. All the people at HM are professional, courteous, and don't take themselves too seriously when they don't have to.

They gave us a stable launching pad to grow on, and we now have our own dedicated servers. If that isn't a testiment to how well you'll do with them I'm not sure what is.

just as a follow up

After sending an email to CQ Host letting them know how disatisfied I was and requesting they cancel my account - they replied to and corrected my trouble ticket.

However, they never responded to my request to cancel.

Ticket opened on 5/24 - resolved on 6/27.

I used to have an account for about 2 years with CQHost before I went dedicated and was more than happy with them and their service.
