hi,

I've heard many people talking about serverbeach.
I just wonder if they are worth a try?

thanks

A few people have asked this in other posts, not sure the need for a new one, but anyway, to answer your question, I think they are very reliable, so far I've had 100% up time, the customer support staff has been wonderful. To this point, they get a 10 out of 10 in my book. :)

Pretty hard to judge reliability when the company hasn't even been around a month, they need some time to build that info :)

Seems to me that they are doing a good job of that so far, building a portfolio.

I emailed several questions to them but no reply at all

What are your questions? I am a customer of them and have always had quick response via email, perhaps I can help you?

Yes questions can be answered by customers, but answers from their staff provide a reasonable account of how they handle their customers, how easily you can get ahold of them and basically a general idea of how they do business...

I asked them to give me the features of control panel for 99 dollar package .
I also asked them if they will provide more selections in the near future.

no reply at all for 2 already

the other funny thing is about that live sale chat.
Their department is not available for chat 24 hours a day.
amazing..

I was planning to order servers today but I guess I'd rather think it over.

Keep in mind that they are new, and could only possibly have a few guys runnin the show, in which case you have to give them a lil slack because of the shortness of people.

Lots of us are short on people, thats no excuse, competing is competing, simple as that. It just depends how dedicated you are to make your dreams come true, i've given my customers a line right into my bedroom, if anything goes wrong, i dont care if i dont get sleep, they will get their support, and it's only happened 1 time, so its well worth it if you ask me. Only having 1-2 people is no excuse to leave emails going unanswered for days =\

Well if you guys don't want to give them the chance they deserve then so be it. It seems that half of you already have your minds made up anyway. I, for one, am quite happy with them.

The chance they deserve? I don't have enough money to give everyone a chance so I have to try and make as smart a decision as possible. The new hosts who reply to queries right away and give full information about their facilities, staff, network, etc. probably deserve more of a chance.

I'm sure enough people will sign up because of low prices alone and then in a few months the rest of us 'poorer folk' who can't afford to lose money if it turns out badly will find out how they are.

You can't rate a company thats been around for a month, hell I wouldn't even say someone is reliable if they've only been around for a year. It takes years of service and experiences to accurately judge a company, at least in my opinion.

Again, most of you already have your minds made up. I took a risk going with them, and I knew the risk and accepted it, and so far it's turned out to be a good decision. You guys wanted feedback from people who bought a server from them, and I'm giving it to you. If you don't like it, well tough, sorry, it's my opinion of them and their services.

Ditto..

But every company deserves a chance to prove themselves. RackShack and other below buck server companies were once starters too. ;)

Agreed, everyone deserves a chance but it will take time to prove yourself as reliable.
