I decided to post this here, since my ccnp boards are not too active. I have been trying despretly to get my homemade crossover cable to work, and well hell, I have run out of crimps(10 in a box) Ok, I am positive I have the cables in order, at least I think I do. 1-3, 2-6, I might be missing one but thats off the top of my head. I got 2 cisco 2500, aui 15 to ethernet. Now when I plug the cable in one transreciver shows the link along with the POLARITY light going on. The other end shows no link. Any ideas?

sounds like you know what you are doing
I just posted this a little bit ago:

That probably won't help you any, since you have them crossed already.
Other than that are you sure the transrecivers are working correctly? (I got some old AUI ethernet cards, not like that helps your any though)
