we were attacked this morning, it took about 15 minutes to discover the attack and eliminate the cause and effect. when you suddenly pump 400 extra megs a second over any network you will have some problems :)

which server was affected? hopefully not mine.

that comes to security: do you have any idea how save the raq's are regarding hacking etc.?

thanks!

lienzi,

Almost any network is vulnerable to a DOS attack. But I recommend you check the RaQ 3 pages at http://www.cobalt.com. There is a nice long list of fixes that you can install to the RaQ 3 which install security fixes. :)

Is there any particular order in which to install the upgrades? It seems logical to install by date...

And are there any issues to keep in mind?

Yep, serious RAQ newbie here ;)

start at the top and work down.

I'm not sure about that... I've always worked up (by date). Hmmm. Ask Steve what he recommends (unless that's what he recommended Eddie?).
