From their website

d. No "Spam". UCE/UBE or "Spam" originating from a PowWeb account or associated with a PowWeb account is not tolerated. This includes any e-mail that promotes web sites hosted on a PowWeb account but is sent from an e-mail address not associated with that PowWeb account. Client shall not use their PowWeb services for chain letters, junk mail, bulk-email, or any use of distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such a process. PowWeb reserves the right to deactivate or terminate any account(s) upon any indication of such activity without notice. There will be a $150 clean up fee if an account was suspended for policy violation.

:) i guess they will shut themselves and charge the 150 fee

has anyone tried going to their upstream provider?

looks to be:

direct:
MobileNetics Corporation
30021 Tomas Street, Suite 300,
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688
www.mobilenetics.com

one level up:
Level3

jump to their forums, contact some other folks who have been spammed and get them together to all complain to level3 and mobilenetics.

I am not defending PowWeb, never used them or anything, but they do have an affiliate program. You should make sure that the spam is coming directly from them rather than one of their affiliates anyway. If the spam is from an affiliate of theirs, you can get their account cancelled by reporting them, and they would lose any commissions they earned as well.
