i received a spam mail this evening from them

I have heard many complaints about them.
Try searching their own forums, a lot of complaints have been posted there.

ahhhh, i have been getting hit hard with spam lately.


and i can't stand a webhost that spams.


i wish there was something like spamcop, only, "upstreamcop", that reports directly to advertises website's upstream provider.

This includes any e-mail that promotes web sites hosted on a PowWeb account but is sent from an e-mail address not associated with that PowWeb account. Client shall not use their PowWeb services for chain letters, junk mail, bulk-email, or any use of distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such a process. PowWeb reserves the right to deactivate or terminate any account(s) upon any indication of such activity without notice. There will be a $150 clean up fee if an account was suspended for policy violation.

I once received spam from this company. It was sent to my @mail.com address.

I have received spam by them, numerous of times.

I am not defending PowWeb, never used them or anything, but they do have an affiliate program. You should make sure that the spam is coming directly from them rather than one of their affiliates anyway. If the spam is from an affiliate of theirs, you can get their account cancelled by reporting them, and they would lose any commissions they earned as well.
