When we inserted the announcement at the bottom of the page we were in the process of getting additional bandwidth in place and had no IP address for anyone to test.

We are in the last days of having the configuration complete and versus going with a few carriers and running BGP, we're taking dual connections from Internap with Cogent for lower end plans.

This places your web server about 50 ft from direct connectivity to all of the following. UUnet, ATT, Sprint, Genuity, Global Crossing, Cable and Wireless, Qwest, Verio and a few more Tier 1 providers.

This allows us to offer 55ms or better response times and 100% uptime guarantee for all network connectivity.

This name server is next to our cage (216.52.190.1). Ping and traceroute from various looking glasses for response times and multiple paths to our datacenter.

We are taking preorders. Contact sales@transoptics.com

We are getting orders in the queue for dedicated hosting services that we are turning up in the next 14 days under the company name HostMania.net. No contract needed. Month to month services only.

We have 280 servers arriving with Celeron 1.2 GHZ processors, 512 mb RAM and 40 GB harddrives. Ensim will be loaded or a pure RedHat install can be requested. PIII processors can be installed for a small premium. You can also pool multiple servers iinto shared measured pools or capped bandwidth pools. (i.e. 5 servers share 420 GB of transfer or 5 servers share 10 mb/s capped). Contact us for this pricing and include your scenario if possible.

EVERY server is behind a firewall for prevention of DOS/DDOS, SYN Flood and a whole list of other hacker attacks. Contact me for the entire list. This ensures you're not wasting resources on unwanted traffic types. We also have 400 GB of cache in place to accelerate web page access. Other network features available are server load balancing, SSL acceleration, full blown firewalls, rate limiting by traffic type, and Intrusion detection to name a few.

The network is currently being setup with connectivity from Time Warner, Qwest, and Cogent running BGP between the providers with redundant Gig-E connections to each. Only cogent is in today with the others currently being installed. (Cogent GW 66.28.28.90) The package includes 420GB/mo of transfer and each additional GB is $1.25. We also have unmeasured, capped bandwidth available on request.

Contact sales@transoptics.com for more information and to place an order. These will go fast at $99/mo and $99 setup.

We planned in the range of $300/mo. As this scales, the price will drop. Since you're on a month to month agreement, everyone will see the decrease.

The price is for BGP between the three providers. Traffic will take the fastest route based on the BGP protocol.

The BGP routing is currently being setup. It should be complete early next week.

Jaawi,

We expected that. Our announcement was more of an awareness factor that to get orders. Contact me at chavvon@transoptics.com and I'll put together pricing for your scenario above.
