Hi

This post is for a friend of mine who for some reason, is unable to post on WHT. There seems to be a problem with his account and he's not banned or anything ( at least not to my knowledge)

He's got a reseller account recently with the domain webmotell.com
He tried to register webmotell.no with Norway but it always fails.
This is the error message that is returned.

-------------------------------------------------------

Data Error: Domain nygaard-sport1.no, name server ns.webmotell.com

Data Error: Domain nygaard-sport1.no, name server ns2.webmotell.com

Data Error: Domain nygaard-sport1.no has at least one name server with SOA
problems
Data Error: Domain nygaard-sport1.no has 0 name servers with consistent SOA

Host has been very helpful but we still can't figure out what/why.

This is what norid.no says but I cant make anything out of it - all the hyperlinks are in Norwegian [and I thought .in registration was the only TLD that took the life out of you!]
=========
6. Name Server Requirements
6.1 Registration requires the specification of at least two name servers. All specified name servers must be set up correctly for the domain that is being applied for, and must be operative when the application is received by NORID. Domains that only handle mail are not registered.

6.2 The name servers for the domain must be identified by the domain name and the corresponding IP address. There are also certain technical requirements. See Appendix F for technical requirements for name servers.

6.3 The name servers may be run by someone other than the applicant.

Erm, so your point being........?

As far as I know, the requirements are met
Webmotell.com exists...and so does the IP

Am I missing something?

What is the problem????
