I am thimking in start my web hosting bussines but I am waiting for to when modernbill thinks in lunch the version 5.2 (with the directi module active)


Some one have a idea when do they intend to fire the updated version!!!

ModernBill is running EXTREMELY slow with their updates.

Honestly I don't think anybody knows when any of their updates will be coming out. I saw one post not to long ago with a modernbill rep saying not to expect the 2checkout mod in V5 for another 6-12 months. I'm not sure about other features but if a popular mod like 2checkout won't be ready for another 6-12 months I would hate to hear how long it may take a smaller feature to come out.

Anyway, good luck waiting around. I would reccomend moving on to something else such as WHMCS, Lpanel, AWBS, or ClientExec.

i have a full licence of a v4 (i am thinking updated to the v5 when they come with the option i wanna)


well i also would like have a module 2checkout

damm i bought on the wrong time....

(i bought with intension use in a diferent thing but end up not used there so i have as a spare (same as the v2 of the kayako)

At the bottom is a pdf with the release schedule. I'm expecting 5.2 around x-mas time.

I would add another 6 months to that release schedule. In fact, I wouldn't dare run ModernBill v5 on a live site for at least another 6 months to a year... minimum.

It is basically brand new software and not an upgrade from v4. I consider it version 1.x.. and like any new and immature software on the market, I would never risk the core of my business (billing!) to something like that.

There are plenty of established and mature alternatives. www.awbs.com is my preference at this point in time. In a year, I will re-evaluate Modernbill v5.

(And yes, I have an unlimited "owned" license of Modernbill, with current support.)

i read that they pretend make a version per month so would be 2 months BUT from the 5.0 to tyhe 5.1 is been more then 2 months so is better be hoping and wait and pray :)

Are they actually releasing a directi module? Anyone has the links with this?
