i am setting up a new hosting website and i have 4 packages. i wanted some orginal names for them.

does anyone have any good ideas?

If you want something original try basing it off your name. As an example, say if your domain was cathosting.com you could make your plans kitty, panther, lion or something similar.

Don't spend to much time on it though. I would doubt you would receive to many more clients just because your plan names are unique.

Off-topic, but you might want to proof read your site.

you do not need to fiddle arround with complex website systems it is ideal for thoses who know nothing.


Apart from the spelling mistakes, do you really think it is advisable to market your services saying that your clients "know nothing"?

All my hosting accounts are ran on cPanel so they are easy to access and update. Most hosting companies offer this operating system, and so if you want to move from a host or move away from me you are always able to make a backup and transfer!

CPanel is a control panel, not an operating system.

As for the plan names, I really cannot see you getting something unique from here. By the time someone posts something that it unique, 10 other people will like the idea and start using it as well.

The names of your plans are really of no importance to anybody except you. That is why you see a lot of standard, advanced, professional, gold, silver, etc. Personally, if I was starting over I would go with something simple to know what it means, like:
SH100_1 << Shared Hosting with 100MB of disk space and 1 GB of bandwidth
RS500_10 << Reseller account with 500 MB of disk space and 10 GB of bandwidth

thanks for your comments. i know there are hundreds on mistakes in my site, hence the reason i am redesigning it and wanted some new package names.

Changing the "Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum" to almost anything else would be an improvement. Playing on the "fuse" them in your company name, you could range the plans from "Little Spark" to "Fully Ignited!" :gthumb:
