There is a free windows control panel. I believe the name is adsi4nt.com? Search the forum archive for more information. No idea how much it works, but you may want to check it out and share your experience with us.

No! WebMin is NOT a control panel but a server tool/GUI that lets you do things you normally have to type commands in telnet/ssh for. It is not a CP in the hosting kind of meaning whatsoever!

..there are no Freebie control panels for Win2k servers that you can actually use to allow clients to control their sites.

however, if you're looking to control your server instead, you can easily get this done either with Terminal Services.. or pcAnywhere

..As mentioned, the closest you will find is the one at adsi4nt.com

cheers

if if you want to give away free subdirectories, no ftp access (just a web based file manager) for free, try elite web page builder: http://www.elitehosts.com/scripts/main.htm
or http://www.elitehosts.com/scripts/builder.ziphttp://www.elitehosts.com/scripts/builder.zip

It works under windows also

If i have crossed the fine line between spam and answering the question, please let me know and i will remove this post. Thanks

The software anycities.com is using is called HomeFree, created by solutionscripts.com.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to my own product or not but check out EasyHost at http://www.cyberscript.net/products/easyhost/ (there is also a free version).

We have a demo up that you can play around with to see if it's what you are looking for.

Also, you might want to check out this link:
http://www.hotscripts.com/Perl/Scripts_and_Programs/Virtual_Communities/

There are plenty of solutions to choose from.
