View Full Version : Never go with this guy

I've been working with numerous webhost and this guy's service is by far, the most horrible. I've had experiences with server downtimes, glitches with the servers with almost every web hosting company and I've learnt to take these things in my stride.

Whatever it is, I think suspending an account without notification can cause the most damage. Lots of downtime, and suspension without notice. And failed to respond to emails when prompted. Just wake up one fine morning, and the whole account is gone.

Whatever you do, just don't go with datapacket.net
I believe that systems can screw up, but when people start suspending your accounts without notification and response, it's the people who are screwed up. And it is their every intention to screw their clients, by that simple act of suspending an account suddenly.

Whatever it is, just don't go with datapacket.net

yeah, usually they do stuff like that to people who commit fraud or some type of serious offense.

Well, you guys are free to try them.
All the sites on my account are proper asp sites, running on a small access DB.
No credit card transactions, no heavy duty forums, just small sites.
No way, they shut down without warning.

And how do you justify not answering to emails?
I have several hosting accounts, running hundreds of similar sites, all without problems. xhostsolutions and hoststock did really well.

Not here to put anyone down, but it'd be good for the community to know.
Just so there'll not be so many victims. If you've had some experience with them, feel free to share.

If not, your replies are just not constructive in this thread.
Also, take a look at these reviews:

Before you go with another host, you might want to use the handy Search function (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php)around here. :wht:

Plugging in datapacket would have probably saved you. :)

I think the previous two replies aren't aware the results. ;)

You're right. Thanks.
Well, let's hope less people get scammed with a new thread :)
