I've had enough of using Registerfly as i have a different problem with them everyday, I now have to submit a ticket to have a domain name server changed since it won't work anymore on my account. I also purchased hundreds of domains with them believing I would get Privacy and have requested it to be available in several tickets and the last I herd was several weeks ago from them to say that they were trying to fix it. I don't want to write all the other problems I'm having with them I just want to move all my domains away from this seriously dysfunctional company as soon as possible.

I did think I had found the perfect spot for my domains with their competitive prices and an interface that looks great on the surface but you soon realize after using it to manage hundreds of domains how flawed it is in the most basic areas.

Please someone suggest a proper register that has a working functional system and easy to work with bulk domains.

I have lots of .info's, 50+ .coms & .nets and a few others - I have around 300 domains to manage and would also need to be able to pay at good transfer & renewal fees at new provider.

Maybe I should get my own reseller account?

Any ideas helpful...

eNom have good bulk management tools. I doubt that Registerfly have disabled their bulk management tools. I was using them only last week, but their not so good.

So RF bulk management tools were having issues or were they confirmed as 'no longer available' (as you wrote 2 posts above)???

I have had so many problems with them its not funny anymore, i have no idea if its just my account or this is happening to others as well? everyday I have to submit a ticket which is usualy because domains I have done a name server change on never went through. I just resubmitted about 15 domains today after waiting for 5-6 days with no change made on the name servers. I then submit a ticket to support who will then resubmit them and this goes on for days more until i finally get them to change.. you can imagine how fustrating it is for me as I have nearly 300 domains with them and trying to manage them is a nightmare.. i just found all of my domains had protection turned off now and I just asked for help to get that sorted out and this is the sort of thing I have to deal with... its causing so much stress, i feel bad as I have got mad at the staff but how can i keep going through all this with them as their system is causing me so many probems? I also had to move hosting accounts lately as i purchased a vps and some new hosting packages, I have spent the last 2 weeks just trying to get Registerfly to try to change the name servers etc... its is the most horrific time I have had from any single company online... their staff do seem helpful and polite but this is a nightmare ,, really it is!!!

Stan Marsh, they were having issues so I guess they will be available again.... They have been trying to correct the problems I have been having for weeks now and I have no idea how long it will take?

What about confirmation you've got that they are gone for good / no longer available?

Stan, I'm not exactly sure what you mean I'm sorry, it's late and been a terrible day today as things are getting worse now...

Today I was out in the city and using another pc and I thought I would browse to my main business website to write a small article. I then noticed it was gone, completely gone - -yes my own website which has been up since years ago. I had recently transfered it to register.com after they offered the transfer special and I thought it would be better to have it where most of my other domains are. I have never touched this DMOZ indexed, high PR site and it was to my horror to then see it was pointing at one of my other hosts and floating around online showing errors.

I never changed anything on the name servers when I transfered and I called them up earlier to let them know.

Now I see another big problem, one that could take me hours or more to fix again... I just started checking some of my domains that I had parked at sedo etc that were doing ok there and now I see that many of them are also pointing to another name server I use but not the one I had for the domains.

So I have only just started checking my domains & sites and many of them are down and not resolving even after I have entered the domain into my host now that Registerfly have decided to point them at that host .... so I'm frantically trying to add all these domains to this other host ... what a nightmare.. but i have stopped, i can't take this anymore, i need sleep ...

you can see what I mean .. here are a few domains below that I had pointing to sedo & other hosts name servers until I see they are pointing them now to my name servers at another host. I have listed these just so you know I'm not pulling your leg.

http://www.atptennis.info/
http://www.batterycellphone.info/

there could be hundreds like this.. its 2.am here and I have no idea what to do about this mess but I'm going to call Registerfly and request they transfer all my domains over to another register of my choice or similar as I have had enough and at their expense.

btw, I also asked them why protecfly has still been disabled on all of my domains (nearly 300)and I was told this is happening for everyone and PRIVACY is not working at Registerfly until it is fixed.

Right Hosting, you sure messed the whole your story up.... :)

What register.com has to do with domains registered at Registerfly?

Registrar is THE LAST to blame when your sites aren't working. First one to blame *ALWAYS* is the hosting company. In your particular case, look what is happening with your DNSes:

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=atptennis.info
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=batterycellphone.info

(if everything will be OK when you'll sleep this over, I can tell you that DreamHost (your hosting company, as far as I can tell) have made a total mess with your DNS. I rarely see so much red flags on one domain).

Anyway, good luck.

ok I see where I made the mistake of writing "register.com" but it was meant to be "registerfly.com" - I don't have time for discussing typo's and please start a new thread about typos if you are not trying to help here.

I'm afraid it is you who has messed up the story because if you had read properly then you would see these domains shouldn't have even gone to dreamhosts at all.

The domains have to be added to Dreamhosts because they have not been added which I plan to do shortly and I had no plans to host them there but it looks like I have to now.

I have enough to deal with, I'm writing about a really bad experience I'm having and thats what this forum is for.

Hi, I too am having massive problems with Register Fly. Keep getting the same story with techs updating tickets saying they are "working on fixing the problem" and check back in 3 days. They've been saying that for over a month now. Am looking for another registrar to move too, and will be setting up a dedicated server and having someone manage our own name servers as my experience thhe last few months with registerfly has been a nightmare. (Have used them for several years without these types of problems.) Had heard things in the past about others having difficulty, but since their switch from Enom, our account has been hit hard with one thing after another. So, I feel your frustration, for what it's worth, and am in the same "boat"...just trying to find another registrar as soon as possible and will get everything transferred out as quickly as possible.
