I logged into my account today and I went to upload a file into my main directory, but I get an error that says I don't have permission. I'm logged in as admin, so I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

Admin can only upload files into the admin's directory. So, if you logged into a different directory, you will not be able to upload files.

If you are in the admin directory, make sure you have the right permissions set on the files. This is especially important to check if you have F%$#ing FrontPage Extensions installed.

If you are using WS_FTP you you can right click on the file in question and choose CHMOD to adjust the permissions.

Hope this helps.

This is the first problem I've had in months. No FP extensions, I'm in my own directory. Can not figure out why this is happening. I hate WS_FTP so I'm using CuteFTP.

I happens on the RaQ after you hit (something like) 32 virtual hosts. It's a pain, I know.

I just hit 32 hosts last night :(. Is there anything I can do. For now I just created a user under my main account and I'm uploading with that, but I can't use admin anymore.
