I was on the "Search for new posts" page here.
While reading a post, I clicked on someone's www button. Their site loaded in a new window.
I was looking at their site, and was three pages in, when I decided to return to the Search page utililzing the browser that just came from that page while leaving the other visited site open.
I noticed another thread and went inside. After reading the thread, I clicked the back button on my browser to return, once again, to the Search page.
BAM! I'm being whisked off into adsville, man.:eek:
Far, far away from WHT to somebody wanting me to buy a credit card and another window selling something that I just closed too fast to see what it was, exactly. But it was something about a cell phone signal booster and a DVD copier. :eek2:
So, was my browser highjacked by something that had been lucking within from pages previously visited?
Or are there other theories to consider?
