Hi, does anyone know a good domain/ web-hosting site where I can purchase a domain name through SMS? Any help is much appreciated...

I'm not aware of anyone offering domains by reverse billed sms.
its an unlikely payment method due to the operators takig such a huge chunk, and ictis/ofcom regs on the amounts that can be sent as charges

you'd *likely* be paying £25+ for a domain registered in that manner

do you not have a paypal account/uk bank account/cheque book/acces to a post office for a postal order ?

I think that payment by premium-priced SMS will make your domain cost AT LEAST 2.5 times more than paid by CC, Paypal or similar online system.

what should be possible is that you prepay an account, and later on, you register the domains by sending the order by SMS...

i spoke to telecoms in kuwait one of them takes 50% of whatever you're charging your customer and the second one said they dont want to bill their customers for something and be liable for it incase it doesn't work or something

although it wasn't live it just notify you payment has been done and you'd have todo it manually.

on the other hand with all the PDAs/mobiles bundled with a web browser its easier to signup via your normal account these days

I can understand the OP. This form of payment is perfect if you want complete anonimity. Just buy a prepaid card and you're all set... The *most* somebody will find out is where the card was bought and from which location approximately SMSes were sent...

Bashar, 50% for telecommunication company is quite low... It's something near 60% where I live...
