This is a two part question. I have an advanced webhosting account with Pair Networks and would like to have a couple of recommendations. 1 - for some site statisticss. I am used to inserting code (usually javascript) into each jtml page, rather then renaming the extention to html or php. Would like for them to be free.

I also would like a recommendation or suggestion for a message board system that would fit seamlessly with my website. Right now, I am using mBoard, which suits me ok, but would like something, but not hosted remotely, hosted under one account and domain, and keep costs low. I would appreciate any input, there is a lot I am looking at right now.

As far as the stats go, I'm not sure - I use awstats but am unaware of their cost as it comes with Cpanel, which is provided by my host (pretty common I think).

And as far as the forums go, I was wondering what you meant by "seamlessly" -- do you mean 1) that it should visually match your site, 2) intigrate with your site, or both?

I would recommened PHPBB as you can customize it fully to look & fit in with your site.

Also you make phpbb part of your site my even inserting it within one of your webpages. You can do alot with phpbb & its easy to set up to, and free.

The only problem i found with PhPBB was you cant create sub-forums, which was a pain for me as i needed sub-forums. If your willing to pay for a message board then no doubt, IPB and VB are the most popluar choices

Phpbb you can have sub forums my simply adding a mod takes about 20 mins

I have done this on one of my forums.

And it will be standard in phpbb3 (still in beta).

Like i said you can customize it to look how you want if you want it theres bound to be a Mod for it, or just ask someone to make you it simple as that lol.
