I ordered some new PC parts a couple of days ago, basically I'm going from Intel to AMD.
But I forgot AMD processors need at least a 300W PSU.

And I have no idea what mine is, there is no marking on the PSU and none of the booklets that came with the PC say either.

Anyone have any ideas how I can find out?

GeForce2MX + AMD1700 + 2x HD 7200rpm + CDROm + CDRW + sound + TV tuner + SCSI card + tape streamer + 256 DDR + 4 USB powered devices (scanner, 2 cardreaders and a camera)

--> 235 Watt will handle it.

If not, you MIGHT condider buy a new one.

If it was for a server, I wouldn't think that way but for just a desktop PC... no problem!
