Sendmail stops when the machine gets loaded.
I have to monitor it and start it agian all over the day.
How to make it run properly or give it a higher priority?

I think you should put your priority on why the server is loaded instead of giving it priority. Sendmail does usually stop when the server is overloaded, as well as ftp and everything else and eventually you will have a server crash.
