Being an ex-cobalt RAQ user I'm feeling a bit naked without my control panel. Does anyone know of 2 scripts that can do the following - Let a user change their password, let a user add new mail users and aliases?

An easy to configure control panel that doesn't cost me anything, doesn't require additional IP's per domain an can run on Slackware would also be of some help :D

Thanks in advance,
Lee

Ok, not free but one time fee: http://plesk.com (I mention it since it is quite similar in some ways to the RaQ CP).

I'm currently using Webmin, which is handy for admin duties. But it doesn't allow for your users to change their passwords or addd their own email accounts, unless I'm overlooking something here ?

Plesk hasn't been confirmed to work on the latest build of slackware properly yet, but it was a package I nearly purchased a month ago. They also require you to install it on a perfectly clean build, which means removing all my clients accounts, then re-installing them afterwards - which would cause me more strain than I need :(

Both those options are worth a look though, so I'll give it some thought - work out the pros and the cons then make a decision later next week.

Thanks people,

Lee.

I'm using Plesk for my server administration, and I like it... It looks really professional, and my clients love it... it is really easy to use, altough it doesn't have as much functions as webmin.... but on the other hand, what's more important... statisfied customers and save yourself time and money, or a web-interface to some things Plesk handles automatically?

And just as a side note, I believe it has been discussed that once you install plesk on the server, you can install webmin on the server as well. This doesn't solve the problem of having to move the accounts off the server, but thought I'd mention it anyhow.
