View Full Version : Billing Software
Omair Haroon 06-08-2002, 03:18 PM Hello,
I know that this is a very repeated topic and infact a very common one, but I have a different problem.
I developed a complete billing system to use with ClickBank, but now I have decided to switch to 2CO. So that system is almost useless.
So, do you know of any script which provides me with a complete customer management as well as billing system which can be integrated easily with 2checkout.?
TIA.
Salam,

pearhost 06-08-2002, 03:54 PM Look at www.phpmanager.com they probably have all what you are looking for... for a very competitive price:)
Omair Haroon 06-08-2002, 04:33 PM Already have tried it out. But I think it is not what I want.
Any other ideas?

Omair Haroon 06-09-2002, 06:10 AM Hello,
Cabal, thanks for the link. Yesterday, when I got few minutes spare, I prepared a list of the features I am looking for the software to have.
(Since, I am using 2CO, that's why I would be sending automatic charge e-mails)
- Add/Edit/Delete Customers
- Add Accounts for customers
- Show Statistics
- Show me link to send automatic charge e-mail to customers on their billing dates

Omair Haroon 06-09-2002, 06:09 PM Hello Guys,
Since I got no reply, I developed a small system for myself. What it basically does is given below:
- when the user go to my signup page he is asked for his domain name and desired package
- the domain name and the client's desired package is stored in the database and and a unique id is assigned to it and passed to 2checkout.com
- once they confirm payment, the routine passback on my site sends me an e-mail and adds a new account in the database and sets the account as pending
- i then go to this system, assign the new account an IP Address, create the account and set it as active. I can also send them a templated e-mail regarding their account have been setup.
You can see the system over here.

Please provide me with your feedback as to what should I add to it, if any.
Salam,
-Omair (finally relaxed :D )
Any chance of posting the code? I was attempting something similar and I would love to see yours. I couldnt get anything to pass info to 2CO.
As for future features, I would like to see a 'custom quote' generator so customers could build a custom plan.

Just use the 2checkout cart feature....
https://www.2checkout.com/cgi-bin/sbuyers/cartpurchase.2c?sid=<2checoutid>&total=<amount>&cart_order_id=<order_id/tran_num>
Remember to turn the feature on ..
(once logged into 2checkout - https://sellers.2checkout.com/cgi-bin/sellersarea/toggle_cart_demo.2c?cart_demo=N )
DynastyHost 06-10-2002, 04:15 AM ModernBill just released version 3.1.0 stable...
Very nice features...
Since I got no reply, I developed a small system for myself.
It look good. - It may also be a good idea to keep an eye at the billing system from clientexec. They are in the beta stage now - I'm a beta tester and it looks really good.

universal2001 06-16-2002, 10:32 PM You may want to try out WHBilling at http://www.webhostingbilling.com/
I don't think it supports 2checkout atm, but most of the better merchants like Echo, Authorize, BluePay are all supported... :D
StarGate 06-16-2002, 10:39 PM I use this:
http://www.solutionroad.com/webhost.htm
And it's only 25$ :agree:
Santiago 02-18-2003, 06:34 AM I second nogi's opinion. ClientExec is releasing their 1.0. in a day or to, and it suits your perfectly it seems (from the info you described atleast).
PixelAxis 02-18-2003, 09:46 AM Nice thread you dug up ;)
modernbill 4.02 build 6.1 version is rock :-)
DomainKing 02-19-2003, 01:20 AM One of my partners uses Modernbill and is happy with it... setting it might be frustrating but once its up its gold!
