MySiteHost 02-02-2001, 08:17 PM Once I figured it out, it was all I could do to keep quiet ;-)jk Jordan 02-02-2001, 08:21 PM I've had a few questions about what Im upto, and I've just accepted an offer from BurstNET to stay on indefinetly as the Sales Director of UltrapeedUSA. PS: We're gonna be releasing a new special dedicated server plan next week, keep your eyes peeled. MSW 02-02-2001, 08:22 PM All I can say is ... nah, I better keep it to myself! DanielP 02-02-2001, 08:25 PM ROFLMAO! DanielP 02-02-2001, 08:30 PM Very Intresting tatic Jordan :) Put me in a position to where your about to go outta biz which would make me personally responsible for 80% of the customers if it were to be shutdown which it almost was on several occasions........ then once i cut my losses you take my hardwork and sell to someone else and line your pockets with $ well done jordan lets just hope you didn't bite off more than you could chew! hostShopping2 02-02-2001, 09:11 PM I'm beginning to seriously doubt what I've been told by US. So I guess Burst is our new Daddy. I dunno. Leapords can't change their spots. What was the biggest complaint with Burst? This is too much for me. I guess I'll wait and see, but I just don't like it at all. And I don't appreciate the heavy desire to collect my monthly bill with a phone call just hours before the announcement with no notice whatsoever that anything was up. You could have collected on Monday or right after the announcement and make sure I stay for the following month. I just have a bad feeling about all this and Burst will have to do a lot to prove their worth. Jordan 02-02-2001, 09:15 PM Sorry about that, its just to ease the transfer into the new billing procedures, we were trying to clear up the remnants of January billing. webfors 02-02-2001, 09:21 PM What about cpanel/WHM? Does any of this change? Do we continue to use it as we have in the past? What about all these new features that were promised months back, like Billing Integration, built in Helpdesk, etc..... Are all these things going to continue to be available to us as BurstNET clients? webfors 02-02-2001, 09:24 PM Originally posted by hostShopping2 And I don't appreciate the heavy desire to collect my monthly bill with a phone call just hours before the announcement with no notice whatsoever that anything was up. But I have my credit card statement showing I've paid for the month of February, and that would be very hard to dispute. I've also been assured that we will not be double billed (like I would of paid twice anyway!!). Yes, BurstNET will have to prove themselves. BUT, If they can integrate TrueHosting without going under, they can certainly integrate us. bdraco 02-02-2001, 09:25 PM As always, everybody with get new features when they are released, everybody gets it at the same time (including BurstNET) except for the beta testers. We will be starting a more public beta testing program for people who have been using cpanel for a while in the near future. As for the billing stuff, we are trying to get the clustering code done before the billing is finished so it can all be done though one server. webfors 02-02-2001, 09:49 PM Wow, new signature Nick!! This makes me even more comfortable knowing that you'll be part of the package! All I want is stability and good support. I'd gladly be a beta tester Nick. Let me know. I have this great little box at racklocation that is just dying for a nice cp. :) BC 02-02-2001, 10:02 PM This is a gentle warning, but the only warning I will issue. If you want to get into a slanging match, fine - but do it off the forum. I have absolutely no interest in watching public slanging matches and if forced to I will have absolutely no hesitation unleashing the full extent of the moderators' powers on all involved. I also have a few aces up my sleeve should anything go awry. You have been duly warned; if you wish to engage in discussions do it in e-mail. Thank you. CRego3D 02-02-2001, 10:41 PM I move to change the name to webtrashtalk.com .. wowow this is actually fun .. hehe :D William 02-02-2001, 11:45 PM Would anyone be offended if I submit all this to Warner Bros ? This would one hell of a Good Movie like Pirates of Silicon Vally, with Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. MySiteHost 02-03-2001, 12:10 AM I watch it all the time.
