I'm having a dillemma now... which of these services is better (without the price difference). Anyone has any negative/positive experiences with either one of them?

i would like to hear some comments from humanclick/livehelper users as well.

I've recently implemented livehelper as a test on my site, i like the fact that livehelper allows you to change the "Click Here for Live Assistance" buttons and doesn't require any kind of icon or ad for their company (except in the chat window).

i also like how livehelper allows you to customize your chat window with your company banner and etc.

I haven't used humanclick(free) because I found livehelper(free) more flexible.

can someone explain some of the features of humanclick(free and not free versions)?

We use humanclick on our web site. They just recently started offering a paid service, but we haven't even considered it since their free service gives us everything we need.

They require a banner advertisement, but it's only on the administrative end. Visitors to our web site do not see any banners. But if you don't want to see the banners, then you'll have to pay a low monthly fee.

For those people without a chat function on their web site, whether it be humanclick or livehelper, you should really consider getting one. It's excellent for customer support, and you can always turn off the function when you're away from your computer or just don't feel like working :-)

Kind Regards,

HumanClick as been enormously helpful to us! We are using the free version, but are considering upgrading in the future.

The free version is a bit limited when chatting with multiple clients at once, but overall is a great tool.

We use LiveHelper but it is buggy on the host side, as in running the host program on your PC stops many apps from working such as setup programs, causes bugs in ICQ plus numerous other little things - But other then that I would rate it above HumanClick Free.

Karl,

I think some of your problems may not be due to Live Helper. I run Live Helper side by side with ICQ all the time and have never had a problem. I have also ran several setups with Live Helper on without problems. I must say that this is all with a reformatted and fresh Windows ME intallation.

Seems like HumanClick is used more but LiveHelper seems like an overall better product and service. Haven't tried either yet (from the server POV) but I'd be inclined to try LiveHelp first.

No, the problem is with LiveHelper, as soon as you close it everything is fine - I might add that this problem is occuring on 3 separate PCs running Win2k.

Hey Karl,

We have been running LiveHelper along with ICQ with no problems on a Win2K machine. Perhaps it is a third software program installed on all three machines that is the problem? Anyways our vote goes for LiveHelper. We used Humanclick and were quite happy with it until the fee structure was implemented. Here are features in LiveHelper Free that are not in the free version of HumanClick:

1) Ability to customize your chat window to fit your design.
2) Ability to push a page to a given user.

We are hoping that LiveHelper continues to evolve and offer more of the HumanClick features!

we use HC (free vers.) i't is very easy to use and have a nice interface. LiveHelper can create a bit confusion at the beginning but has more features and it is more prof.(you scould have more time to understand what is what  )
But until Human click is free i prefer use this one

I use humanclick and love it, the free version seems to be fine for buisness use. So far at least.
