Is anyone else having much trouble getting hosting signups? I have been signup free for over two months and its getting quite scary. I have been blaming it on two things:
1: The economy
2: the fact that its summer.
If people are getting signups, who are you and how are you doing it?

That seems scarry, have you checked to make sure that your signup form is not losing the signups?

Whats the link your Hosting company?
Most would blame summer as webmasters take a break from building sites. However I disagree. More then likely your drought is either due to bad design, non competitive rates. Or of course lack of Advertising funds. I mean I wouldn't even start a hosting company without at least $1000 in Advertising money. If not a lot lot more. This is of course for your introductory month. Following that, you should spend all profits on advertising until you reach enough clients where word of mouth will help you along greatly.

N/M, I think I found your link.
ezRackSpace.com correct?
Hmmm, besides the rip-off domain name. You have a great design and some great rates. I am just as surprised as you at the lack of customers. Good luck my man. At the present time I do not see what the problem could be.

Your slamming people every chance you get today, eh ?
hey shawshank. "Whats the link your Hosting company?"
I gotta see this. Since you seem to have such a wealth of knowledge and opinion on Web Hosting and Design for a newbie with no signature, you must have some background in the industry.
Please give us some information on your hosting company that you wouldn't have started unless you had at least $1000.00 to spend on advertising. "If not a lot lot more" ... lol

Rip off domain name? Whom did I rip off? Is there an easyrackspace.com? NO.
And if you are referring to rackspace.com, Rack Space is a common term used among webmasters and webhosting companies alike.
No reason to bash man, that was pretty lame.

We used to get 3-6 signups a day, but at the moment it has dropped off a little. I would say due to the fact that we're now concentrating on existing customers and have almost completely stopped advertising. :)
If you're not getting any signups at all, or almost none, you're either not providing a good product, don't have the right pricing, or aren't doing enough advertising.

Their are just toooo many hosting companies out their. Or to mannnny people with reseller accounts!
I think we are still feeling the effects of 9/11 and the large amount of competition?
But by the looks of your site I think you will pull through this.

See, i personally dont think we are still feeling 9/11 effects.
I just see the economy slowing, maybe .COM's arent worth investing in anymore, who knows.
