Xandrios 08-13-2006, 11:34 AM Very nice deals!
Few quick questions:
- How much for DirectAdmin / CPanel?
- What's included in 'Level1 managment'?
- Do these deals include a remote reboot port? If not what are the costs for reboots? 24/7 staff on-site to execute the actual reboots?
Thanks :)
RooHost 08-13-2006, 12:07 PM What about info data-center?
What is OS you can install?

Thanks :) Hello, thanks for your interest in Galaxy-Solutions.
DirectAdmin is $15 per month and Cpanel is $24 per month. please note we have not yet added DirectAdmin to the orderpage, so you will need to contact me or one of the live chat operators to order this. I will have it available on the order page within 48 hours.
Level1 management includes 24/7 server reboots, support tickets and 1 hour of admin work every month.
Reboots are included with the free level1 management, and yes we have staff available for this 24/7
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 02:25 PM What about info data-center?
What is OS you can install? Hello the datacenter is the Saidcom datacener in PA. We can install CentOS, Fedora, and Debian free of charge. We are experimenting with FreeBSD so that should be available soon. We can also iiinstall Windows 2000 and 2003 server editions, but there is an additional charge for these.

Is any possiblility to get APC remote reboot port?
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 03:07 PM Is any possiblility to get APC remote reboot port? We have the hardware to do this on order and it will be here next week. It may take us a week or two to set it up and test it, but yes it is possible and it is coming.

So say for Windows 2000 what is the additional fee etc?
Equonix 08-13-2006, 03:24 PM Galaxy-Solutions, LLC is pleased to announce the grand opening of our new website, http://galaxy-solutions.com.
Respectivly, Is it just me or does the design look oddly familiar?
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 03:35 PM Windows 2000 is an extra $4 per month.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 03:39 PM Respectivly, Is it just me or does the design look oddly familiar? The design may look familiar. We had made our own design, but we changed it to this after a competitor contacted us selling his design. To make a long story short we liked his design more than our original design so we bought it.
dzikudziku 08-13-2006, 03:42 PM Windows 2000 is an extra $4 per month.
Please give a quote also for Win2k3 Server. Thanks.
Largo05 08-13-2006, 03:56 PM Windows 2000 is an extra $4 per month.
I have a valid Windows 2000 license, would it be possible to use that?
kaizersoze53 08-13-2006, 04:04 PM I am interested in the following server:
Intel Pentium 4, Dual Core 2.8 Ghz
• 1 GB DDR RAM
• 80 GB SATA Storage
• 1,000 GB Transfer
• 5 IP Addresses
• Level 1 Management
• $99.99 per month
I also need windows and extra ips...up to 18 total. Do you have this in stock currently, andwhat is your turnaround time once the server is ordered?
Do you have a test IP?
jerett 08-13-2006, 04:38 PM I would have to say that I am disappointed that you practically copied the layout of softlayers' header. I might be wrong on this but it is very very similar with the use of the same nav images and all. If you knew photoshop better - I am sure you would have had the same navagation bar as well.

Do you have a test IP? I believe I spoke to you on the phone. The answer is yes this machine is in stock and additional IP addresses are $10 for a block of 10 IP addresses.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 05:13 PM Win2k3 is $7 per month more and at this time we do not accept users licenses for Windows software as we can not verify it is a legit license.
Also here is a test 10 MB download. http://64.9.105.170/vhcs2/10MBTestFile
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 05:16 PM I would have to say that I am disappointed that you practically copied the layout of softlayers' header. I might be wrong on this but it is very very similar with the use of the same nav images and all. If you knew photoshop better - I am sure you would have had the same navagation bar as well. Interesting. We actually purchased the template from http://bruzen.net/, who claimed they were going to update their site and use a new design.
Saish 08-13-2006, 08:41 PM how much is additional RAM and second HDD?
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 08:55 PM We just sold out of the budget servers, but we are getting a few more in next week. We are expecting the shipment tomarrow, but I will post back when they arrive.
how much is additional RAM and second HDD? How much more RAM and what size hard drive would you like?
avythe 08-13-2006, 09:27 PM Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.galaxy-solutions.com.
Isolated incident?
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 10:17 PM I must have typed the wrong address in up there, the correct one is http://galaxy-solutions.net .
<<<< EDIT>>>>
I did, sorry about that. At the top of my first post I typed the wrong URL, but this forum will not allow me to edit that post.
avythe 08-13-2006, 10:19 PM Why does it say:
• upto: 5,000 GB Transfer
on the main page, but when you go to order it says 1000GB?
actually, that entire page is misleading since it quotes you something that isn't being described.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-13-2006, 10:46 PM Why does it say:
upto: 5,000 GB Transfer
on the main page, but when you go to order it says 1000GB?
actually, that entire page is misleading since it quotes you something that isn't being described. When you order the server, you should be able to add on up to 5000 GB transfer. Yes it is extra, but it is available.
dspillettt 08-14-2006, 05:52 AM I believe I spoke to you on the phone. The answer is yes this machine is in stock and additional IP addresses are $10 for a block of 10 IP addresses.
Do you offer rDNS control for the IPs? Via user control panel or via support request?
Galaxy-Hosts 08-15-2006, 01:34 AM Do you offer rDNS control for the IPs? Via user control panel or via support request? Yes we do offer Revers DNS.
Also an Update on the budget servers, we have the 1.7 GHZ and the 2.0 GHZ back in stock. We are still waiting for our 1.0 GHZ servers to arrive.
r0dey2009 08-15-2006, 12:01 PM Nice deals, I have placed an order for the 1.0GHZ.
Hopefully you will get some in soon. Btw, you may want to change your ordering page and let users know the 1.0GHZ server is not in stock. Your web site says servers are in stock.
Do you happen to know an ETA on those?
Thanks,
Sam
jerett 08-15-2006, 12:06 PM Galaxy - I am sorry for the comment earlier. This is not the place for me to comment on your site. please accept my apologies and I wish you the very best.
Great pricing by the way.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-16-2006, 01:33 AM Nice deals, I have placed an order for the 1.0GHZ.

Sam We actually got a few in today but after we filled orders for customers that wished to wait we only had 3 left. You did get one of these, and your order should be ready on time. Also we have already sold out of the 1.7 GHZ machines. We have ordered alot more of these and are hoping they arrive by this weekend.

DustinRB 08-17-2006, 06:15 PM I sent an e-mail in today and no responses after several hours, also live chat is offline and no one answers either of the phone numbers.
r0dey2009 08-17-2006, 07:02 PM The have responded to past emails of mine. Btw, im still waiting for my server to come online. Anyone else get their server?

DustinRB 08-18-2006, 12:21 AM I hadn't signed up for the server, was just trying to get some info earlier today. I will likely be going with a dual xeon machine from softlayer, unless you might be interested in beating their deal of course. I can be contacted at Capstoned -AT- gmail -DOT- com if so.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-18-2006, 12:26 AM Which Soflayer offer are you considering? I will look at it and see what I can do.

Added options: PLESK 7.6 30 domain, 100Mbit Port, Win 2k3 Std R2
Total comes to: $219/monthly - no setup
Galaxy-Hosts 08-18-2006, 10:33 PM Hello DustinRB, I can make you the following offer:
Dual Xeon 3.0
1 GB DDR RAM
250 GB Sata II hard drive
PLESK 7.6, 30 domain
100 Mbit port
2000 GB Bandwidth
Win 2k3 Std R2
$207.50 per month, no set up fee
I will also email this offer as you requested.
MasterGee79 08-22-2006, 10:22 PM Just to be clear, what is the default OS that is installed with your dual core servers? I saw the choice of 3 in an earlier post, but never saw anything while ordering yesterday.
I'm hoping that it is CentOS, otherwise I may need to submit a ticket.
Also, in an earlier post you said something about reboot ports being available soon. How much will this cost? After reading a few post by people claiming to have a hard time getting ahold of somebody for presales questions, I am a little concerned about the availabilty of staff to manually reboot if needed.
Galaxy-Hosts 08-22-2006, 10:57 PM Yes the default OS is CentOS. As far as I know there will be no charge for remote reboot ports. Also the quickest way to get support is by support tickets. The phone rings only to me, so if I am buzy or another staff member is on duty it will not be answered. Support tickets are checked regualar basis by all the staff.
Roflcopterrr 08-23-2006, 12:27 AM Rodney, can you show me a link to your site? I want to see what the speed is.
