I stumbled across http://www.tiqit.com/eightythree.html. I have to say it looks pretty cool. A faster CPU would've been helpful, and same goes for a lower price. Still looks sweet ;)

Is a computer about the size of a portable CD player. No monitor though like this one, nor keyboard. This one is pretty fab... BrianF 06-07-2002, 06:38 PM It's cool, but I wouldn't consider buying it at a "laptop price range." --Brian Nadav 06-07-2002, 06:46 PM Yeah, the price is the only thing that bugs me. If it only was $500 ;) Nadav 06-07-2002, 06:47 PM Originally posted by Chicken Looks neato. I also like that errrr... darn I'm not sure I can find it. It's at ThinkGeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/computing/59ef.shtml) Chicken 06-07-2002, 08:37 PM Yeah that's the one, and a similar one at tiger too, but same general idea. At tiger I think it was $500, which I considered as I'd like to take a PC to work, but errrr... well... maybe pointless. Always sold out far as I've seen it lately. Wasn't at one time: http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/MiniBookPC/index.asp |
