Nope, I don't believe there is any free archive of WHOIS history.

I regualry use www.whois.sc. It's a great resource

Yes it is great. I use it too. I guess I will just need to payup for a Silver Membership to access to it.

The subscription is $15/month. I think a one time fee of $15 to find out this important information is $15 well spent, imho. If you balk at that price... it's frivolous.
