hello,i find a website which is full with illegal link,like bt seed...ect,those are include microsoft,acto cad...ect,i tell the host of www.bluehost.com (http://www.bluehost.com/) to take care,www.bluehost.com (http://www.bluehost.com/) told me the link of boradcasting is not illegail,does the law allow it in uas? thanks

Providing a pointer to the file isn't illegal. The US still has freedom of speech. I can tell you any link I want. It's your problem if you actually follow it.

thanks for MrPrivacy,so,if a build a forum with many mp3,software... link in my website,but the file is not on my server,it is legal in usa?even if legal adult file? thansk

I wouldn't care wether it's legal or not. I'm not sure that question has been entirely answered.

I'd care wether the MPAA/RIAA/BSA are going to send the feds to sieze your equiptment. Precedence there has shown that if you grow big enough or draw enough attention they WILL do this.

There's a large and growing number of torrent site administrators for example who are learning that trying to say they didn't actually host the material, just provided access to it isn't keeping their sites from being shutdown and their hardware seized.

Regardless if it's legal or not the RIAA, MPAA or any software firm still can go after a host or account owner for hosting such content. I wouldn't want to be brought to court even if it was likely I'd win my case.

Why do you even wish to rip off people's hard earnt work? It's piracy, and it is illegal.

If I did find somebody on my server linking to illegal files (or hosting them), I would immediately terminate their account.
