Hi, I've posted a few topics with only bad experiences here and I felt that I HAD TO POST THIS.

I, as many other around here have had more bad experiences than good ones, and as many other here too, I have posted and posted and shouted and had diarrhea while waiting for a ticket that take ages to be answered, but this time (first time actually) I left ssWebHost with a smile.

So, I have to say to level up my karma that my experience with them was overall good, and I'm not trying to start a flame here with other people that have hosted with them and had bad experiences, write about them, that is what this forums are for.

I had more than one "special requests" that were granted, A couple of things that a regular customer shouldn't be allowed to and tried to pay back back for their help with my respect.

"Happy", "Smile", "Peace" I never knew their real names, maybe my bad for never asking, but they (specially "Happy"), were really helpful responding tickets quickly, or at least keeping me informed and updated on the status of them. If your problem can't be immediately solved, it is good at least to know that someone is working on it.

I was never moved around between servers to balance the load, and never had to experience service quality to go down, certainly not the cheapest host in the block, their service is actually great --I don't and will never believe the old "You Get What You Pay For" adaggio, when you advertise a service for a price it is a compromise the seller makes, not the buyer, and as a seller you are entitled to be crucified by your customers if you fail to deliver what you promised and have no right to complain, this is said by a seller myself --.

I want to publicly thank ssWebHost.Com and HappySupport.com for their help, understanding and service during the year I spent with them.

P.S.: If you're wondering why, then, I moved from them, the answer is that my needs have grown and now I need to be in a VPS, this is my third month with RapidVPS.Com and it is too soon to evaluate them, but eventually I will, for good or bad. If you got this far reading my post, I thank you too. :) Good Day.

@ldcdc: Thanks :) Iagree that if you pay the price of a nut you shouldn't expect a steak. Still, the "steak for the price of a peanut" is liable for it's failure to comply with such an offer.

Haha, that's exactly what I thought the first time I read the name. I wonder if the owners realized the possible linkage...

I do wonder, what's the "ss" about? What does it stand for in this case?
