Hi

FYI

i am on a direct 100mbps connection in a datacentre

SLHost website took 40 seconds to load, so this shows their connection aint good or overloaded/high CPU usage on server.

Hostforweb, loaded nice and fast, good clean design.

Don't go for SLHost. I'm now with them for about 6 months and have nothing but trouble; servers slow, servers down, statstics crashing, etc. Support is good, but sadly that doesn't help to avoid having these problems to begin with.

I have to agree, SLHost's web site took longer to load but not 40 seconds. Images loaded very slow.

I have been with slhost for a couple of months now. I'm very pleased with the support team and would recommend them.

Please post your domain name here or PM me with the domain name. We don't constantly have issues with our servers and maybe it's an issue with your account in particular if you regularily notice issues. That may not be the case, but I want to personally look into this and can't do that when you just go bashing us without some sort of record that you're a client of ours.

Yes, he's right. They don't constantly have issues. But they PROXIMITY have issues.

Can you please elaborate on this? I'm not sure what you mean by this and for me to correct any issues with our service, it would be helpful if you explained yourself a little better.

The server you are on had one maintenance period for a kernel upgrade and there was a data center network issue on another occasion, which everyone was emailed about. This particular incident afffected not only us, but even other VPS hosts in the same data center.

Other than that, I see your particular account has no QoS limits of any kind and the node itself is running a load of .75 so there shouldn't be any issues there.

I'm sorry you've had issues with your our services. We do our very best to make everyone happy.
