Well since you spent the 11 bucks its shouldnt be too much. So my as well try them out and see for yourself. See how their performance on server, staff, support as well as customer service.

Perhaps you'll have your own review by the end of the month either a positive or negative one. Keep in mind customers are more incline to give negative feed back rather than positive one this is usually the case with a very large firm.

Every company has bad reviews. The larger they are, the number of complaints increases -- it's relevant. Let us know how it ends up turning out. I don't think you'll have a problem though.

People generally get pissed after a bad experience, so go out and publicise their bad experience. Whereas those with good experiences are too busy enjoying them, and so don't normally write anything.

Or don't want to jinx it. ;)

Not as much, as people are more likely to write up a negative review, than a positive review.

Not as much, as people are more likely to write up a negative review, than a positive review. But the positive to negative ratio should remain the same, more or less.

Surpasshosting is an active and growing company and is definitely not some sort of defunct scam page. You'll receive web hosting service for sure.

But the positive to negative ratio should remain the same, more or less.
When the customer is happy, most of them won't take the time to give a positive review for company they are happy with.

When the customer is unhappy, they will do whatever they can to give the company a bad name.

80% of happy customers don't write reviews.
100% of unhappy customers write reviews.

Those are just my own statistics, not actual ones :gthumb:

Its not like that in real life. Assuming you're right, I would like to hear a plausible explanation for it. :)

Well, I've had a reseller account with them for, I spose nearly a year now, and although at first they were very unstable (server outages, suspended one of my accounts without any explanation, ticket responses slow or non-existent), around November time last year they actually improved. They have a community forum (surmunity) where some of the techies post information and announcements; however in general, since late last year I've noticed their helpdesk replies have been good.

Since around the same time, they've managed to be quick off the mark in identifying problems and resolving them - in some cases I've opened a ticket in the small hours of the morning and gotten a response within max 2-3 hours - in one or two cases within minutes!

All in all, I'm personally happy with their level of support and customer service. Their uptime has been very good IMO and for the past few months what small issues I've had have been negligible in terms of performance and accessibility of my accounts.

I'd give them the thumbs up :)

(oh and yes I haven't posted much, and no I don't work for them and no, they don't pay me - I have a few reseller accounts with various providers so I have a pretty decent comparitive field to work with ;))

I have been with Surpass for awhile, a few months anyway and there support is good, had 1 or 2 support tickets answered in less than an hour, uptime has been close to 100% since I have been there and I just decided to upgrade a reseller plan to vps the other day, no hesitation on the upgrade because its all been good so far...

I'm really glad to hear these positive reviews for Surpass. Evidently they have vastly improved since I was with them.:peace:
