AFhosting.com is crap. Do not sign up with them.
I just had 7 hours of unexplained outtage yesterday on 5 accounts. Today I see it was 'complications with maintenance'
They crap out on us on a monthly basis and never answer email, calls for support. (They did fax me back once)

Consider yourselves warned

I just did a simple traceroute. It seems that AFHosting.com has their servers with Site5, and Site5 was having a scheduled maintenace yesterday, although it did not come too god for some clients since some of their servers were down much longer than planned.
