I have read in the WHM News that CPanel now supports quotas on mailboxes. I would like to know how can I set up this feature. It also says "Theme modification needed". How shold I modify the theme (I use Iconic)?

Thanks

Hello,

when you set up a new email account within CPanel you should see the quota box - enter the quota in MB's there.

if you don't see that option, then CPanel needs to be updated - you need to have - (4.7.0 build 68 or later only)

The iconic theme would be updated automatically - just if you have your own custom theme you'd need to update that to include the new functions.

Thank you for your reply,

So if I understand this correctly, you can't set quota on an existing account, but you have to recreate it?

Yes, when you set the account up.... I don't see any option to change it to existing accounts, perhaps that will be added in due course :-)

We have a machine with 4.8.x 40 on it, and still no quotas yet. any idea?

which theme do you use?

<!----- Edit, just checked our iconic theme and it doesn't include the necessary templates for quotas - Use another theme that does like bluelagoon - or edit the template pages for Iconic I guess lol ------>

For existing accounts, go to the Manage Accounts screen, then select the change password option. You will now see the existing quota assigned to the account and can change it at this time.

Hope this helps..

Thanks for that, knew it had to be there somewhere with iconic - didn't look that hard to be honest lol
