Hello
I see some websites being sold saying that they get about $xxx a month in adsense profits, but I don't understand when they sell you the site, how do they transfer the adsense account?
Do you have to sign up for a new one or do they give youthe password to the adsense account and you change the details in there?

You just add your own adsense code to the site once you own it... simple :)

Once you buy the webstie, the former owner will remove their Google Adsense ads. You'll go to http://google.com/adsense and sumbit that site to google adsense for approval to take part in their program. Once accepted, you can get the google adsense code from you're account and just paste them on the website you bought. Simple.

Most people purchasing a website with adsense on them are already in the adsense program.

Adsense accounts cannot be transfered; primarily as you cannot change the name of who gets the cheque. This is good to stop hackers. As everyone else has said you just change the codes so they're from your account then the website should carry on making revenue (which will be paid to the new owner).

dont be tricked into *paying* for one of these "adsense ready" sites
i doubt very much you will get $xxx returns back from them unless the
domain name itself is a popular one or you spend a long long time on SEO

Way too many MFA sites floating around, earning less and less as more spring up.
My advice, choose a subject you enjoy or are knowledgable about and go from there. Then in time when you have established some traffic wack some adsense on and keep working away.
Very hard to make decent money from adsense these days without good original content.

I do not think it's worth to buy site Adsense these days. Just start something original and take it from there.
