What do you guys think is the most suitable reseller plan for me?

This is for about 60 clients(their hosting plan: 500mb space/2.5gb bw)

I'm moving out of my current host because of their downtime, and it bothers me lol. I've currently looked at ResellerZoom, but I'd like to know your recommendations on what webhost to get.

well... if your customers are using full, it's time to get your own dedicated server

A dedicated server would be suited for you...
60 clients using 500mb = 30,000mb webspace
60 clients using 2.5GB bandwidth = 150GB bandwidth

So for 30GB and 150GB bandwidth, how much are you looking to spend?

Well, in general. What is your budget?

On a dedicated server?

Doesn't sound like someone ready to take on the managerial responsibilities of a dedicated server.

It depends on the sites being hosted by these 60 clients and the actual resources that they are consuming. If a good portion of them have active sites with forums or cpu-intense scripts, then its a good idea to jump on a dedicated server. Quite a few hosts will be happy to provide you with a good box that's got the management you need.

On the other hand, if you're end-users aren't hosting sites with much traffic or don't use much of their space/bw, then i'd suggest just finding a decent reseller provider and continue.

if you got a dedicated server, you could look at getting a managed dedicated server.

You can fish a dedicated box which matches your needs at

well, how much space are they actually using?
I'm going to regret this, cuz i always get someone breathing down my neck when I post a host...
My reseller is www.pristinehost.com (http://www.pristinehost.com)
I've had nothing but good things to say about them... except for their support, its not 24/7 like they say.... but the prices are great.

edit: but if you're going to spend more than $40 per month on a reseller account, get a dedicated server.

The way I see it, a VPS can only be a temporary solution, used to keep the costs at a somewhat lower level, but with a possible cost in performance.

A fair budget coupled with a more accurate estimation of the needs should guide the OP to a good reseller hosting provider.

.

I agree to that statement vps somewhat reduces your site performance for same amount of budget. Higher budget might get better vps and performance.
