I enabled the hotlinking protection feature on Cpanel and immediately I got this in the results page:


Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/usr/local/apache/logs/httpd.mm.25559") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to open semaphore file (Permission denied): OS: No such file or directory


Anyone familiar with this error or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Not sure. I've seen this before as well.

I found a thread on cpanel's forums a while back where someone had this issue. They updated apache/php and it went away. May try that if you haven't already.
